Daisy is my daily driven 1990 Ford Mustang LX 5.0. She was ordered by an elderly lady who did quite a bit of research on the fox body Mustang before placing her order. She ordered the car directly from Ford in early 1990 and sadly, traded her in on a new Milan in 2008. Apparently the elderly lady, known as Mustang Mary to her friends, decided her days of owning a rear wheel drive Mustang were over. Lucky for me, I was able to obtain Daisy with only 74,XXX original miles on the clock in unmolested, bone stock original form.
Daisy was equipped from the factory with grey leather interior, Oxford White body panels and an automatic transmission.

So, of course a Mustang left stock with me is sacreligious...just doesn't happen. First modification was the infamous five lug swap (to get rid of those hideious stock ten holes) and lowered with Eibach sport lines. The five lug swap is 99+ up front and Ranger axles out back. Rolling stock was stock 96-98 Mustang GT wheels, which I refer to as Split Fives or Daisies.

Next modification was a Cervini's 2.5" Cowl Hood, already painted Oxford White, located on Denver's Craigslist. Of course I snatched that up as fast as I could, driving to Denver in my beloved Daisy sans hood. The nice guy who I purchased the hood from gave me a K&N air filter and installed it, while waiting for his brother to arrive to help install the hood. Shortly after, with Daisy's new attitude with her hood, it was decided to see what 17x8/17x10.5 polished Bullitts would look like on Daisy. Of course, this prompted another photo shoot to show off her new goodies.

Next, I found a smokin deal on my local Craigslist for an original set of Ford FR500 seats, which were made for the 99+ Mustangs. Being that Daisy is my daily driver (yes, even in the cruel winter of Colorado Springs), I couldn't see subjecting her perfect leather interior to daily wear and tear. These two tone leather seats fit the bill perfectly for functionality and looks. The driver's side seat is fully functional with the six way power adjustment.

So, as of right now, those are the modifications done to Daisy. My most recent purchase was a Saleen wing that will need to be painted to match.
Future modifications include a five speed swap, rear disc brake conversion, stereo (coming soon), exhaust and mild engine bolt ons.
